Preselection results 3… 2… 1… DANCE! 2019

There were 28 pieces submitted for the 9th edition of the choreographic competition  3…2…1…DANCE! After considering all the applications, the Organizers qualify for the competition the following works:

  1. „A sailor’s soul”, chor. Martijn Joling
  2. „Po tamtej stronie”, chor. Joanna Nadrowska, Monika Górka
  3. „Ikar, który skradł słońce”, chor. Sebastian Wiertelak
  4. „Krystyna in flamenco mood”, chor. Katarzyna Myrda
  5. „Silverliner”, chor. Artur Bieńkowski
  6. „We read you”, chor. Olga Bury
  7. „PSALM”, chor. Sylwia Bloch-Sternik
  8. „After midnight”, chor. Zuzanna Strugacz
  9. „Sitting”, chor. Anna Akabalı
  10.  “an aimless series of words and fragments of thoughts”, chor. Dominika Stróżewska
  11.  „I see you”, chor. Anna Karabela

The commission has decided to distinguish these proposals, taking the following into account:

  • composition of the whole piece;
  • the idea;
  • consistency of chosen elements such as music, costume, aesthetic and artistic means;
  • technical level of dancers and their expressiveness;
  • uniqueness of the language;
  • other choreographic values.
