Tens* performance explores the theme of the body as a generator of energy.  e artist searches for organicity resulting from the  ow of physical sensations, vibrations, following intuition, and harmonising the body and the mind. She gives herself time for development. She also gives the audience time to harmonise their own bodies with the performer’s body. Tens involves tension, mindfulness, and calmness, as well as strength, which can always be found by taking a deep breath in and out and standing strong on one’s feet. *Tens (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is a method used in pain management therapy, based on using low-amplitude electrical impulses. Electrodes placed on the surface of the skin deliver electric current to the peripheral nerves and stimulate them in two ways: by blocking the nerve impulses carrying information about pain to the brain and by initiating the production of pain-relieving substances – beta-endorphins.
