Results of the 3… 2… 1…DANCE! 2019
We are very pleased to announce the winners of the 9th edition of the 3…2…1…DANCE! choreographic competition.
Audience award of 300 EUR was given to Anna Karabela for „I see you”.
Assen Assenov awarded:
the 500 EUR prize to Katarzyna Myrda for “Krystyna in flamenco mood”.
Substantiation: Well and intelligently developed work, touching, warm, emotional, clean. Well done!
The 300 EUR prize to Sebastian Wiertelak for “Icarus who has stolen the sun”.
Substantiation: I can see the great potential in you as an artist. Be brave to express yourself out of the world which you already know.
Israel Aloni awarded:
the 500 EUR prize to Artur Bieńkowski for “Silverliner”
Substantiation: The piece portrays a clear idea throughout and the attention to details is refined. It appears that there was a good collaboration between the choreographer and the performer.
An additional distinction for Artur Bieńkowski is mentorship with Israel Aloni as part of the iCoDaCo 2018-2020 project in the form of 3 online meetings.
the 300 EUR prize to Anna Akabalı for “Sitting”.
Substantiation: Interesting combination of physical, visual and theatrical elements. Suggesting exciting potential for the development of coherent work.
Anna Godowska awarded:
the 500 EUR prize to Katarzyna Myda for “Krystyna in flamenco mood”.
Substantiation: For creating a choreography that becomes a compelling story. A consistently developed and well thought-out creation with a lot of onstage intuition.
the 300 EUR prize to Artur Bieńkowski for “Silverliner”.
Substantiation: For creating a form that constitutes a separate, very specific world itself and for achieving harmony resulting from an encounter between the choreographer and the dancer.
Agata Moląg awarded:
the special award – participation in workshops during Contemporary Dance Festival SPACER 2019 to Katarzyna Myrda for “Krystyna in flamenco mood”.
Substantiation: For the power of a female detail, the awareness of onstage „being”, for refined taste and charm and for creating a vibration in the space by tensing the little finger.
Grand Prix of 400 EUR awarded by the Organizer was given to Katarzyna Myrda for “Krystyna in flamenco mood”.
