KCC representation in New York and Oslo

We are pleased to inform you that in January and February, the Krakow Choreographic Center team took part in international events related to the development of contemporary choreography and searching for ways to support it.

In February, Monika Węgrzynowicz took part in EDN Encounter at the invitation of the European Dance Development Network in Oslo. During this several-day stay, she had the opportunity to watch performances selected for this year’s Ice Hot Nordic Dance Platform at Dansens Hus, Oslo. EDN Encounter are meetings that provide organizations dealing with contemporary dance that are not (yet!) members of the network with the opportunity to better learn about EDN, how it operates, the management team and the artistic people showing their works during the Platform.

In turn, in January, Agnieszka Barańska-Kozik participated in the meeting of Partners of the Global Practice Sharing program, organized by the Movement Research organization from New York, with the support of the Trust for Mutual Understanding. For two days, Agnieszka participated in talks with various organizations from 10 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the USA in order to exchange experiences. We hope for fruitful and long-term cooperation!
