November Full of Inspiration: Dance Congress and Open Eyes Economy Summit

In November, even though the weather outside is far from encouraging, we’re not slowing down!

On November 15–17, 2025, the 4th Dance Congress, organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance, took place in Warsaw at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Representing KCC at the Congress were Agnieszka Barańska-Kozik, Karolina Graca, and Monika Szpunar.

The Congress is an event that enables in-person meetings (as well as online participation), the building of dialogue, and the exchange of ideas that support the development of dance in Poland, promote a strong and socially engaged dance community, and initiate discussions on the most important issues related to dance in our country.

This year, a key element was the presentation of the research results from the “Report on the State of Dance in Poland 2025,” which frequently served as a starting point for panel discussions. We hope that these solid data will contribute to increasing the visibility of dance in Poland and will become a foundation for seeking strategies to strengthen its position.

Following the Warsaw congress, Aleksandra Honza and Agnieszka Barańska-Kozik took part in the International Open Eyes Economy Summit in Kraków, held on November 18–19, 2025.

OEES is a unique event—the only economic congress of its kind—within which the organizers demonstrate that business and the economy not only can, but should be based on social values. What distinguishes the Summit is its own, one-of-a-kind Open Eyes philosophy, which emphasizes the need to build a responsible civil society that also demands accountability from business and public administration.
