We are pleased to once again partner with the Incarnations project by the Crush on Trash Foundation! This time, our studio will host a workshop led by Katarzyna Żeglicka.

October 4–5 (Saturday & Sunday), 3:00–8:00 PM
Studio KCC

Facilitator: Katarzyna Żeglicka
PJM Interpretation: Jakub Studziński
Registration (by October 2):
Fee: 100 PLN / person / 10h

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The workshop is designed to equip those engaged in dance theory and practice, as well as dance and theatre education, with knowledge about creating inclusive and accessible choreography. It is open to anyone interested in dance and choreography – no prior dance experience or physical preparation is required. The facilitator takes into account the needs of participants with disabilities.

What will you gain?

  • You will understand what inclusive and accessible choreography is – and what it is not.
  • You will expand your creative tools with inclusive movement elements and body-based working methods.
  • You will learn what an accessibility rider is.
  • You will discover the work of dancers with disabilities and the barriers they face.

The workshop is practical – participants will create short études that will be presented at the end.
