Recently, we went on two more delegations!
During the Spring Forward 2025 festival, organized by the Aerowaves network, the Krakow Choreographic Centre was represented by Dominika Wiak.
Aerowaves is a European network supporting the most promising emerging choreographers. Each year, 46 partners from 34 countries select 20 of the most exciting choreographic works from across Europe. The 2025 program featured 21 works from 17 countries, along with a diverse and inspiring selection of up-and-coming dance makers.
The Spring Forward Festival took place on April 23–26, 2025, in Gorizia and Nova Gorica (IT/SI), hosted by Artisti Associati.
Spring Forward Festival 2025 was part of the official program of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica – Gorizia.
Monika Węgrzynowicz, in turn, took part in the very first edition of Moving Balkans.

I am glad I could participate in the first edition of Moving Balkans. I feel it is, in a way, an expression of support and recognition for dance that exists beyond and/or between conflicts driven from the outside. I spent a lot of time reflecting on the visibility of contemporary dance, the role of spaces dedicated to this art form, and the possible ways of responding to the needs of artists.
I was thinking, listening, talking, watching – probably in that exact order.
