The main program of the festival (July 31-August 6) will include Polish and foreign performances, the premiere of the KCC Residence, movement workshops, critical workshops, a choreographic competition 3…2…1…DANCE! and accompanying events. Among the festival presentations will be the award-winning “Throught the Grapevine” by Alexander Vantournhout – a duo on the borderline of contemporary choreography and circus.
3rd edition of the Krakow Dance Festival
Who is dancing?
July 31 – August 6, 2023
The full program of the 3rd edition of the festival will be published at the turn of May/June. We encourage you to follow the Social Media of the Krakow Choreographic Center (Instagram, Facebook).
The idea of the festival is to show the potential of contemporary dance, both on its own and in relation to other fields of art, as well as to release the creative energy of dancers, choreographers, performers and other artists. The Krakow Dance Festival is a new initiative of the Krakow Choreographic Center, merging the existing brands of KCC: Contemporary Dance Festival SPACER, choreographic competition 3…2…1…DANCE! and BalletOFFFestival into one event of an international nature and on a much larger scale.
