{"id":524,"date":"2018-03-28T12:46:11","date_gmt":"2018-03-28T10:46:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nck.krakow.pl\/kcc\/en\/?p=524"},"modified":"2020-04-14T15:02:49","modified_gmt":"2020-04-14T13:02:49","slug":"results-of-the-3-2-1-dance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nck.krakow.pl\/kcc\/en\/results-of-the-3-2-1-dance\/","title":{"rendered":"Results of the 3&#8230;2&#8230;1&#8230;DANCE!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h1>Results of the 3&#8230;2&#8230;1&#8230;DANCE!<\/h1>\n<p>After watching 11 dance presentations on the 24th of March 2018, the jury composed of Ma\u0142gorzata Haduch, Gwyn Emberton, Jacek Przyby\u0142owicz and Agata Mol\u0105g decided to award the following prizes in the 3&#8230;2&#8230;1&#8230;DANCE! choreographic competition &#8211; edition 2018:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ma\u0142gorzta Haduch<\/strong>\u00a0awarded:<\/p>\n<p>The 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0prize (500 EUR) to Jaros\u0142aw Mysona for \u201cSTONEWALL INN\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For thinking through all choreographic elements, taking the risk in terms of the piece\u2019s composition and full expression.<\/p>\n<p>The 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0prize (300 EUR) to Zuzanna Pruska and Yoh Morishita for \u201cCOSMO\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For setting out on a journey to discover their own choreographic voice on stage and for a soundtrack that was well thought out in relation to choreography.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gwyn Emberton<\/strong>\u00a0awarded:<\/p>\n<p>The 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0prize (500 EUR) to Jakub Lewandowski for \u201cMelancholy\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For: The piece allowed me to go on a journey. It created a narrative for me that was consistent and the humour was great to see. It was well thought through with well executed movement language.\u00a0I\u00a0felt the piece was considered and right for the performer. The piece brought everything from character, costume, props that made the piece whole. Also it was very well performed and directed. It raised questions about the role of the male choreographer and female dancer. (However I felt it had no relationship with the description).<\/p>\n<p>The 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0prize (300 EUR) to Jaros\u0142aw Mysona for \u201cSTONEWALL INN\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For: Structurally I thought it was well developed and created a real sense that it had a through line. The beginning led to the end and I felt I understood the choices made. The ending was slightly weaker than that of my first choice. Movement language was purposeful and made sense for the piece. The politics of the work are really important and necessary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacek Przyby\u0142owicz<\/strong>\u00a0awarded:<\/p>\n<p>The 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0prize (500 EUR) to Marta Jakimicha and Paulina Spiel for \u201charMOnizatTION\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For an original and mature form of artistic expression on stage and a consistent dramatic structure.<\/p>\n<p>The 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0prize (300 EUR) to Jakub Lewandowski for \u201cMelancholy\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For an intelligent dramatic narration that combined elements of physical theatre and dance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Agata Mol\u0105g<\/strong>\u00a0awarded:<\/p>\n<p>the special award \u2013 participation in\u00a0workshops\u00a0during Contemporary Dance Festival SPACER 2018 to\u00a0Marta Jakimicha and Paulina Spiel for \u201charMOnizaTION\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>For the youthful energy, freshness and courage in taking up physical challenges on a high technical level.<\/p>\n<p>The Organizer decided to award<strong>\u00a0Grand Prix\u00a0<\/strong>of 400 EUR to\u00a0Zuzanna Pruska and Yoh Morishita for \u201cCOSMO\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Audience award<\/strong>\u00a0of 300 EUR was given to\u00a0Paulina B\u0119dkowska and Monika Ma\u0142ycha for \u201eNo, where\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":480,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-524","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.12 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Results of the 3...2...1...DANCE!
