The results of the pre-selection for the 6th edition of the choreographic competition 3…2…1…DANCE!<\/h1>\n

There were 46 pieces submitted for the 6th edition of the choreographic competition\u00a0 3…2…1…DANCE! including solo, duets and trios from Poland, Czech Republic, France, Great Britain, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Uganda, Hungary and Austria.<\/p>\n

After considering all the applications, the Organizers qualify for the competition the following works:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. “#DBRMPP”, chor. Katarzyna Gorczyca and Oskar Malinowski;<\/li>\n
  2. “On this thin ice”, chor. Agnieszka Borkowska;<\/li>\n
  3. “Homogemonia”, chor. Ewelina Drza\u0142-Fia\u0142kiewicz;<\/li>\n
  4. “MAT-X”, chor. \u0160t\u011bp\u00e1na Mancov\u00e1 and Kl\u00e1ra E\u0161nerov\u00e1;<\/li>\n
  5. “A voice of our common madness”, chor. Jolanda L\u00f6llmann – the piece will not be shown during the competition due to organizational issues;<\/li>\n
  6. “A step towards…”, chor. Enrico Paglialunga;<\/li>\n
  7. “Pagan poetry”, chor. Yohan Zeitoun;<\/li>\n
  8. “Talk to me”, chor. Pawe\u0142 Zaufal;<\/li>\n
  9. “5dm3<\/sup>” chor. Anna Kaminska and Patryk Durski;<\/li>\n
  10. “Symptoma”, chor. Fabian Fejdasz;<\/li>\n
  11. “Syrenada”, chor. Zofia Tomczyk and Krystyna Szyd\u0142owska;<\/li>\n
  12. “I’m a wife and I’m scorned”, chor. Malcolm Sutherland;<\/li>\n
  13. “Inner place”, chor. Dominika Wiak.<\/li>\n
  14. “Bord\u00f3s\u00e1g” chor. Anita Barab\u00e1s.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The commission has decided to distinguish these proposals, taking the following into accout:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • composition of the whole piece;<\/li>\n
    • consistency of chosen elements such as music, costume, aesthetic and artistic means;<\/li>\n
    • technical level of dancers and their expressiveness;<\/li>\n
    • uniqueness of the language and choreography values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This year’s jury are: Karolina Garbacik, Leszek Bzdyl and Jos Baker. Each of the judges will award two individual financial rewards. The total prize pool is 1650 euro. Another member of the jury is Agata Molag, who as the director of the Krakow Choreographic Centre will award prizes in the form of workshops at the Contemporary Dance Festival SPACER, sponsored by the Nowa Huta Cultural Centre. In this edition there will be a new prize available – an audience award.<\/p>\n

      This year’s expanded edition will also include a four-day intensive dance workshops, which will be conducted by the jury of the competition – Jos Baker (freelancer cooperating with world famous companies such as Peeping Tom and DV8) and Leszek Bzdyl (founder of the Dada von Bzd\u00fcl\u00f6w, actor, dancer, initially bound to the Henryk Tomaszewski Wroc\u0142aw Mime Theatre).<\/p>\n

      March 12th in STUDIO KCC at 5:00 pm takes place the presentation of all creators qualified for the competition, and on March 13th at 6:00 pm we invite you to an evening of winners, combined with the premiere performance of the Around Centre Group “Mourners” choreographed by Agata Molag, director of the Krakow Choreographic Centre.<\/p>\n
