‘Universal discussion’<\/strong><\/p>\nC&C Company, Carlo Massari will be sharing an intensive 2 days long workshop for professional and non professional dancer\/actors\/performers.
\nWorshop will be based on a physical theater training which is most representative of the company.
\nC&C language and research is built on a very concrete way to be in relation with another person in space, in movement or\/and in dialogue.
\nTo find real action and concrete movement, improvisation must pass by a long moment of contact research, which include an important physical warm up of body and mind. This class is followed by a long moment of contact improvisation with a straight direction to
\nput in the foreground relationship and the comparison.
\nWe are trying to find an original movement that can make us dialogue with another body in a universal way. Trying to be read and understand by everyone.<\/p>\n
Carlo Massari<\/strong>
\nHe started his career at the age of 14, working with the company O.T.E. Saracinesche (IT) directed by Pietro Luigi Floridia in the show Il Balcone di Giulietta (Special mention \u201cPremio Scenario 2003\u201d). At the same time he started his collaboration with Compagnia del Teatro dell’Argine (IT) , performing in the shows: Che Diremo Stanotte all’Amico che Dorme (Festival delle Colline Torinesi), Alice 171, Piccoli Cedimenti Strutturali. In 2003 he was directed by Luigi Gozzi in the show L’Attentato, production Teatro delle Moline (IT). The same year he went to the Biennale di Venezia (IT) with a production of Teatro Nove, Teatro della Limonaia (IT), Binario Morto, last work of Barbara Nativi. In 2010 he worked in the musical Grease by Compagnia della Rancia. He started his collaboration with the Teatro Comunale di Bologna for different shows like Beggar\u2019s Opera directed by Lucio Dalla. He started directing his own pieces like Anna Cappelli, Niente pi\u00f9 niente al mondo and Kaf\u00e8 show for three performers from 2007. Since 2010 he has been an interpreter in the physical theatre company Balletto Civile, directed by Michela Lucenti. He performed in the pieces: Il sacro della primavera, (second price \u201cPremio Roma Danza 2011\u201d), They shoot horses don\u2019t they? directed by Gigi Dall\u2019Aglio, choreographer Michela Lucenti and Woyzeck from Michela Lucenti. He started collaboration with the italian company Abbondanza e Bertoni in 2014. In 2011 he created the company C&C.<\/p>\nC&C Company<\/strong><\/p>\nC&C company is an artistic collaboration between Carlo Massari and Chiara Taviani.<\/p>\n
First project of the company is \u201cCorpo e Cultura\u201d; presented in different festival; \u201cFermenti, forme di vita teatrali\u201d Teatro alla Corte di Giarola, Parma, (IT), Festival \u201cA pas de corps\u201d Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Girandole, Montreuil, (FR), Festival \u201cNuit tr\u00e8s blanche!\u201d Th\u00e9atre M\u00e9nilmontant, Paris, (FR). \u201cCorpo e Cultura\u201d is supported by Spazio OFF, Trento, (IT) with an artistic residency in November 2011 and a presentation in the festival ‘OFFX3’.
\nIn April 2012 the project gets an artistic residency in Mexico in the art center \u201cLa Granja\u201d. The work was presented in the city of Amanalco, Valle de Bravo and Mexico City (MEX) in performing arts \u201cLos talleres\u201d.
\nn the same time they complete the work \u201cMaria Addolorata\u201d co-produced by U.O.T Unit\u00e0 organizzativa teatrale, Parma, (IT), presented in national and international Festival:
\n\u201cBe festival 2013\u201d (UK), \u201cLucky Trimmer\u201d (D), \u201c21th Quinzena de dan\u00e7a de Almada\u201d (P), \u201cTanzimpulse\u201d (AU), \u201cAccidental Festival\u201d (UK), \u201cMC 11\u201d(FR), \u201cEstivales de Tarbes\u201d(FR), \u201cEdimburg Fringe Festival\u201d (UK) and many others. \u201cMaria Addolorata\u201d is winner of jury price in the festival \u201cLes HiverOclytes\/ Les Hivernales\u201d in Avignon (FR), first price in \u201cPalco Aperto\/ Pim Off\u201d in Milan (IT) second price of the jury in \u201cInternational competition for choreographer in Hannover 2014\u201d, second price of the jury in \u201cZawirovania Choreographer competition in Warsaw 2014\u201d.
\nThey also present a new project \u201c012\u201d a project with a child on scene. Supported by international school of Parma, (IT), and presented in Teatro alla Corte di Giarola (It) and in \u201cWonderland Festival 2014\u201d Brescia, (IT).
\nThey are now working on the new creation \u201cTristissimo\u201d a work on Wagner’s Opera Tristan und isolde, which first step as been presented in \u201cManipulate Dance Festival-Edinburgh\u201d (UK) and \u201cMade in Rovereto\u201d (IT).
