However, this does not mean that no residency groups stayed in our space. We are delighted to share that this year\u2019s residents were Bartosz Baxi Ostrowski, Michaela Da\u0161kov\u00e1, and Florent Golfier (the tYhle collective). We decided to support the project&nbsp;<em>&#8220;Blurrylingualism \u2013 Encounter in Between Languages&#8221;<\/em>, which Baxi Ostrowski proposed during last year\u2019s open call (2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During their residency at KCC, the tYhle collective set out to develop a toolkit designed to summarize and share the knowledge they\u2019ve gained with other artists and the wider public interested in experimenting with their multilingualism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The residency process culminated in a public event held on September 21. It took the form of a workshop, during which participants engaged in a condensed practice of the developed scores. The event was accompanied by a discussion on the collective nature of the creative process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Offering a workshop format provided direct access to the described creative proposal and opened up space for potential collaboration and shared discussion on the issues raised. This practical approach stemmed from the performative nature of the research, which cannot be fully realized without both action and reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery an international group of creatives with shared experiences in organizing laboratories (Studio ALTA Prague 2020, TU Dortmund: Department of Psycholinguistics 2022), presenting collective works (PONEC Theatre for Dance, 2022), and conducting research as part of the Performing Artists Residency at the Workshop Foundation in Budapest last year.
